I am a Professor at the West University of Timisoara, Sociology Department. I teach the Sociology of Migration, Labour Economics, Social Mobility and Economic Sociology. My current research interests include social computing, computational sociology, and big data. My work focuses on analysing and predicting international migration from big data, assessing the effects of digitalisation and robotisation on the labour market and analysing the dynamics of labour market using web mining and data mining.
